Seltzer Cole is an experienced communication strategist, who uses the unique approach of combining journalistic enquiry, customer service and communication training to help organisations of all sizes address the challenges of managing their reputations.
He has worked directly within the public and private sector, and with professionals, to enhance their 'offer'.
He is a lively and enthusiastic seminar presenter and creative thinker, adept at turning complex concepts into simple, practical advice.
As an Associate Consultant with the LGA (Local Government Association), he has run dozens of workshops for elected representatives (including leaders and cabinet members) on communication strategy, engaging with stakeholders, social media, reputation and crisis management and personal branding.
Seltzer has also enjoyed a career as a journalist, news editor, producer, publisher and writer in television, radio and print media, spanning more than 20 years.
He also has experience at the 'sharp' end of business, as co-founder and joint managing director of an online business which raised over seven-figures in funding and employed 23 members of staff.
As media manager and head of editorial for a global financial services retail marketing agency, Seltzer worked directly with clients including Barclays and Abbey National (now Santander).
An ongoing interest in professional development has led to studies and qualifications in customer service, life skills coaching, cognitive behavioural therapy, educational psychology and NLP.
Seltzer has written a number of non-fiction and fiction print and digital titles.
